Customers Jake and Joel have been having lots of fun with the bream around Lake Tyers lately.  Most of the fish have been 32-38cm and are coming from the shallower 1-4ft margins, along with some nice flathead to complete the bag.

Customer Trevor has been fishing Lakes Entrance over the past three weeks, mainly around the town jetties catching flathead to 46cm with most success coming from bluebait.

Westernport Bay has also been fishing well with good reports of snapper and whiting.  The snapper appear to be in best numbers along the middle channel from around Hastings thru to Joes Island.

Whiting reports are coming in from the top of the bay with Locals reporting that this will be a great whiting season over the next couple of months.  Reports of 51cm whiting around the middle spit on pippies are the go.

Dave reported squid off Port Welshpool jetty, mostly on Yamashita 2.5 RLOLC jigs.  Flathead are also in good number with sizes up to 40cm mostly taken on the sand flats on Squidgy lobby.

Other species in good numbers around Seaford have been Gars.  These have been taken off the Seaford Pier mostly late afternoon and on Silverfish.   Mornington has not been quiet either, with Wayne taking good sized squid, 30cm hood, in good numbers from the Mornington Rocks area.  Dartmax UV colours working best.

Team Member Dylan, had a good days success on Portsea Pier landing squid around the 1kg mark.  Best jigs where Harimitsu 3.5 in red/gold base jigs colours.  Peter also reported great success the Shimano Keimera squid in 3.0 and 3.5, also in red based, brown jigs.

Over the other side of the bay at Queenscliff, customer Ryan had good success with squid being taken off the pier.  He also reported good numbers of Salmon and Pike around the Harbour.  Dartmax bumble bees and Berkley bass minnows working best for results.

Team members, George and Chris had a good evening session bagging out,  on the snapper off Mornington with fish up to 3.5kg taking pillies and Silver whiting.  Our last snapper charter with Think Big Charters had a session that many anglers could only dream of.  The boat reached their bag limit in just under 2 hours with fish ranging in size from 1-3.9kg.  What a trip to remember.

The next day Chris and his father went out in 19.5mtr off Mt Eliza, bagging out in just under 90 minutes early afternoon.  Silver whiting proving to be the best  bait with most fish taken from 2-4 kg.

Customer Daniel reported taking snapper up to 5.1kg in 19 metres of water off Carrum last Thursday.  Pilchard and squid combo worked as well as 5in Jerk shads worked well.

Regular Michael fished 16 metres off Carrum during the week and even though he was plagued with flatties he managed snapper to 4.3kg.  Regular Joe also reported Frankston South was firing in about 12 metres of water.  Best times where low light with pillies and flickbaits doing the trick.

Glenn reported snapper to 3kg around Freemasons point on Squid and Yakka combination.  Kristian also had good success with snapper up to 4kg using Yakka and Mackerel/silver whiting bait.  These where taken in 18 metres off Seaford.

Team Member Dylan and Ian, fished Lake Eildon today chasing Cod.  Ian landed two Cod, one 6kg and the other 8kg.  Both were taken on spinners near the Dam Wall.

Further afield, George (not our George, but a regular customer George) fished Mulwala in the Cod Classic landing a 60cm cod on 12 black blade Bassman.
